If all you want to do is sit on a sofa with a cuppa and quietly watch the world go by\, that’s perfect. If you’d like to chat\, we’re here. If you want to take part in something gentle and grounding\, we’ve got that covered too. \nWho you can meet\nA wonderful group of local organisations will be with us throughout the day\, ready to chat\, listen and share what support is available. This is a gentle\, three-hour afternoon designed to help you slow down\, switch off from everyday stresses and fully immerse yourself in the joy of making. \nYou’ll enjoy a calm\, supportive atmosphere focused on social connection\, mindfulness and creativity\, where there’s no pressure to be perfect … just plenty of encouragement\, laughter and time to explore something new. Whether you’re completely new to crafting or simply fancy trying a different technique\, this session is all about learning\, experimenting and having fun together. \nBy the end of the afternoon\, you’ll not only have new skills and something handmade to be proud of\, but also a sense of calm\, achievement and connection with others. Each week you’ll explore accessible craft activities in a relaxed\, friendly space where you can slow down\, switch off and reconnect with yourself and the people around you. \nThese gentle\, no‑pressure sessions are perfect whether you’re completely new to crafting or simply looking for a mindful pause in your week. They offer space to learn\, experiment and enjoy being part of a caring\, creative community. \nBy the end of the morning\, you’ll leave with your very own Floral Wire Creation\, a sense of achievement and the warm feeling that comes from spending time with others in a positive\, creative environment.
