In this friendly\, hands-on workshop\, you’ll create your own sleeping animal wool sculpture\, choosing from inspiration such as a fox\, badger\, squirrel\, rabbit\, cat or dog. \n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n\nLearn the basics of needle felting techniques using wool fibres \n\n\nCreate a sleeping\, curled-up animal sculpture from scratch \n\n\nUse specialist felting needles to shape and form wool \n\n\nBuild your piece step-by-step\, from core structure to finished detail \n\n\nYou Will Explore\n\n\nDifferent types of wool\, fleece and fibre \n\n\nThe origins of the ancient craft of felt-making \n\n\nHow to sculpt form using a wool core \n\n\nAdding colour\, pattern and surface detail \n\n\nTechniques for shaping\, contouring and refining your work \n\n\nThis Workshop is Perfect for\n• Complete beginners \n• Anyone looking to try a relaxing\, mindful craft \n• Those wanting to build confidence in creative skills \n• Crafters interested in needle felting or textile art \nNo experience is needed. Each week you’ll explore accessible craft activities in a relaxed\, friendly space where you can slow down\, switch off and reconnect with yourself and the people around you. \nThese gentle\, no‑pressure sessions are perfect whether you’re completely new to crafting or simply looking for a mindful pause in your week. They offer space to learn\, experiment and enjoy being part of a caring\, creative community. \nBy the end of the morning\, you’ll leave with greatings cards made using the Tea Bag Folding method\, a sense of achievement and the warm feeling that comes from spending time with others in a positive\, creative environment.
