“We are fundraising for Blood Cancer UK in loving memory of my dad, who sadly lost his battle with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
His strength, courage, and kindness continue to inspire me every day, and this fundraiser is my way of honouring his memory while helping others affected by blood cancer.
At Our Crafty Place, we believe that creativity brings people together. We wanted to use our welcoming craft community to support an important cause, so we’re inviting people to come along, enjoy a creative activity, spend time with others, and help raise money for Blood Cancer UK.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help fund vital research, improve treatments, and provide support for people and families facing blood cancer.

Crafting for a Cure
We’ll have fun, simple crafting stations set up throughout the day … perfect for families, friends and anyone looking for a relaxed creative break during the summer holidays.
You can:
- Try all crafts and spend the whole day with us
- Or simply dip in and out and choose the ones you fancy
Each craft will be quick, enjoyable and suitable for all ages. We’ll be requesting donations for each craft you take part in, with every penny going to Blood Cancer UK.
Refreshments & Good Company
As always at Our Crafty Place, there’ll be refreshments to buy on the day. If crafting isn’t your thing, you’re still warmly welcome … come for a cuppa, a chat and the chance to be part of a heartfelt community event supporting an important cause.
We simply want people to come together, connect and support Kate in this poignant and worthwhile fundraiser.
