The Workshop
Your tutor, Faye, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “This one day course aims to give you an introduction to gel printing and to teach you some of the different and exciting techniques on the plate that can be used to create beautiful colourful and textural mono prints for a variety of projects.
We start the workshop with a description of the basic tools and how to use the plate. Firstly, we shall start producing simple prints with acrylic paint and then begin to experiment with other mediums and techniques. By lunchtime, you will have created a stack of lovely prints to use in the afternoon session.
After a break for lunch, we will use the prints to produce some greetings cards as well as begin a pattern and doodle book that you can take home and continue to work in.”
