The Workshop
Your tutor, Linda, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Would you like to have a go at creating your very own stained glass ornament to take home with you the same day? I am a full time stained glass artist who has undertaken many commissions, from small ornaments to larger encapsulated windows and I want to give you a chance to try this wonderful, versatile craft for yourself.
On this 3 hour workshop you will get hands on experience assembling and finishing your very own stained glass ornament. I certainly understand how addictive the craft is and how expensive it can be so here is the perfect opportunity to dip your toe in the water, spending the morning or afternoon playing with glass. See below for a few examples of what you will come away with.”

Feel free to browse Linda’s website here – to get an understanding of the breadth of her work.
What is the cost?
£60 + £1.17 card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your ornament and refreshments during the day (excluding lunch).
How many places are available?
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
What are the timings?
This is a relaxed 3-hour morning running from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.00am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Linda and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.

During the 3 hours you will be learning how to attach foil tape to the glass and soldering your pieces together. Using a soldering iron can be a bit daunting to start with but Linda will be on hand to give you specific techniques that will keep you safe and comfortable.
You will need to concentrate but it will be a fun and engrossing 3 hours!
