The Workshop
Your tutor, Jane, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Join me on this ‘Have a go Modern Calligraphy workshop’.
All equipment is provided for you to be able to learn how to hold & use the pen, nib and work with metallic paints. Have a practise with hand out example sheets and then use your new found skills to create a personalised wreath sample that you can take home!
I have taught all types of calligraphy & find that “Modern Calligraphy” is wonderful and “user friendly” in comparison to the classic scripts. It is perfect for both left and right handed people, so no excuses lefties!!
I only work with the products that I know work well for learning calligraphy & will bring products for you to purchase on the day, if you wish, for continuing your new skills at home!”
NB: If any of you want to bring what calligraphy items you already have, Jane is happy to see if they are usable for this class or advise their best use.
