Join Our Sewing Surgery: Working with Sewing Patterns to Fit Our Unique Bodies Workshop
Starting from September we are providing monthly workshops to give you new skills to assist with your sewing. They will always be on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 9pm. Sessions will develop over time to be exactly what you need them to be. Today’s workshop, to set us off on this journey, is Working with Sewing Patterns to Fit Our Unique Bodies, as it was popular at our Upcycling and Repurposing workshop. The future is all about your requests … as examples you may want to learn:
- Making practical items (e.g., glasses cases)
- Demystifying sewing patterns
- Understanding different fabrics
- Working with zips
- Working with stretch fabrics
Your tutor, Melinda, is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing her expert guidance to help you feel confident, capable and inspired in your sewing practice.
