Complete beginners … if you are able to hold a pencil you can hold the felting needle. Some people prefer to hold the needle itself, and others like mounting it in a wooden handle. There is a possibility of ‘stabbing yourself’ with the needle, which is painful for a short while, if you suddenly lose concentration! It is an occupational hazard and all of us have done it at some point! We have plasters!
