Everyone has different learning styles, but here at Our Crafty Place, we want to make the whole environment best meet your needs. We do this by:
- The décor is relaxing, and we will always try to reduce ‘visual clutter’.
- Some crafts come with certain smells, so we will reduce any further contrasting smells!
- Following our verbal and visual instructions, some people like to work in silence, and some with music. We will only ever have background music / sounds if that’s what everyone wants. Quiet will always be our norm.
- Some crafts are best done standing, others seated. We have different types of chairs (some that move!) if you need to sit but need movement to keep you stimulated.
- A significant factor for the venue had to be outside green space. Nature is crucial for everyone’s well-being. We wholeheartedly recommend breaks outside (even in the British weather!). Relax in our garden space and enjoy a cuppa and a chat with fellow crafters.
