Hello! My name is Marcus, and I’ve always been passionate with creating art and teaching others. My creative discipline extends to lino printing, painting and graphical illustration.

I do a fair bit of drawing, illustration work and traditional paintings. More recently I’ve got into lino printing, which was during the COVID lockdown back in 2020/2021.

I see arts & crafts as a lifelong pursuit, so I’m always excited to keep creating and keep track of my progress through the years!

Teaching workshops is an area I’ve grown quite enthusiastic about, I’ve learnt through trial-error, discovering different carving techniques and effective printing processes.

I desire to share my passion and knowledge for this craft onto others through these classes. The feeling of accomplishment and the degree of problem-solving that attendees feel, makes organizing and running the classes an honour.

After producing a lot of varying designs of lino printed animals for cards, prints and larger A3 prints I’ve been making more ambitious designs for stocking in various giftshops such as the Planetree.

I’m excited to be part of Our Crafty Place’s roster of creative tutors and look forward to making a difference to the mental wellbeing of others through crafting and sharing my passion for lino printing & printmaking.
