A Craft Walk With a Difference – Join Us!
Looking for something a little different? Come and join us for a gentle, creative and community-focused “craft walk with a difference” … where crafting meets the outdoors in the loveliest way. May is the ‘Erewash Walking Month 2026’ and we are joining in with the brilliant initiative that is being led by Erewash Borough Council who say the month is “Promoting everyday walking to improve health and wellbeing … Great fun for all ages and family members”.
We’ll begin our day together at 10am at Our Crafty Place, where you’ll ease into the morning with some simple, mindful making. You’ll create a selection of small handmade pieces such as painted pebbles and compostable paper seed labels – all designed to be shared with others along the way.
Then, once we’ve been creative, we’ll head out for a relaxed, sociable gentle walk. As we walk, we’ll be leaving our handmade crafts behind for others in the community to discover … small, thoughtful surprises to brighten someone’s day.
