Your tutor, Gael, is looking forward to welcoming you and guiding you step by step as you create your very own botanical plaster cast picture.
“During this workshop, you’ll craft a unique pottery frame and pour your plaster cast into it. You’ll then design and press leaves, grasses, and seed heads into the plaster to create a stunning natural relief picture.”
What You’ll Do
During this hands-on workshop, you will create your own botanical plaster cast picture.
You will:
Craft your own clay frame
Pour and prepare your plaster cast
Explore the textures and shapes of natural foliage
Design and press leaves, seed heads, and grasses into your artwork
Take time to enjoy the process, creating a piece that’s truly unique

Please bring:
Your own foliage (ferns, seed heads, or any interesting leaves)

Workshop Details
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Arrival: From 9:30am for a warm welcome, meet Gael, and enjoy a cuppa
Group size: Limited to 8 people for a relaxed, small-group experience
Cost
£62 + £1.20 card fee.
This includes all the materials needed to make your picture and refreshments during the day (excluding lunch)
