Come and join Viv and Kate for a relaxed and friendly creative session where you’ll have the chance to try your hand at making a sea glass picture. This is a gentle, three-hour afternoon designed to help you slow down, switch off from everyday stresses and fully immerse yourself in the joy of making.

You’ll enjoy a calm, supportive atmosphere focused on social connection, mindfulness and creativity, where there’s no pressure to be perfect … just plenty of encouragement, laughter and time to explore something new. Whether you’re completely new to crafting or simply fancy trying a different technique, this session is all about learning, experimenting and having fun together.

By the end of the afternoon, you’ll not only have new skills and something handmade to be proud of, but also a sense of calm, achievement and connection with others. Everyone is welcome, just bring yourself and your enthusiasm to create. 💜✨

You will be making a small picture using pieces of sea glass. When thinking about who you’d like to make it for, (or if you’re keeping it for yourself!) … and bring along anything you may like to add like a twig (for birds to sit on) … shells to incorporate (maybe as the body of a turtle) … little trinkets that mean something special that you haven’t got a use for (that you could add into the picture to represent family). For an idea of the sort of thing you will be making look at these sea glass pictures.

A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund and all the players of the Lottery, and to our amazing volunteers, who make all of this possible. Together, we’re creating a safe, caring and creative space for everyone.
