
Join us for a Leather Craft Workshop, where your tutor Tracey is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing the joy of traditional leather work in a friendly setting. Although a lot of fun, this workshop is NOISY due to the techniques used – so please avoid if you struggle in noisy environments.
In this creative 3-hour session, you’ll have the chance to make a selection of wonderful, unique leather items of your choice, with guidance throughout. Whether you want something practical, decorative, or a small gift, there’s an option for everyone.
What You’ll Do
- Choose a project to create, such as a leather book cover, purse/pouch or dragonfly keyring
- Learn how to measure, cut and shape leather safely and accurately
- Practice making holes and preparing leather for stitching
- Assemble and construct your item step-by-step
- Add finishing touches to make your piece truly personal

No experience is needed. If you can use scissors carefully and enjoy working with your hands, you can do this. Everything you need to know will be taught in this leather craft workshop … Tracey will guide you through each step, helping you build confidence with the tools and techniques while creating something you’ll be proud to take home.

- Arrival: From 9:30am for a warm welcome and a cuppa
- Group size: Limited to 8 people for a friendly, supportive atmosphere
- NB: This is a noisy workshop – so give it a miss if you struggle in noisy environments.
Cost
£52 + £1.05 card fee
This includes all the materials needed to create your leather item(s) and refreshments during the morning (lunch not included).
