Linda is a full time glass artist creating unique glass ornaments, art panels and windows using traditional lead came, copper foil and fused glass methods in a myriad of colours and textures.
Each design depending on technique employed goes through an in-depth process of colours and textures of glass being selected, cut, painted, copper tape or lead came/cement/solder applied or kiln fired, finished and polished. This means that each individual piece of glass is touched by the maker many times until the finished piece is complete to give many years of enjoyment.
Linda has undertaken many commissions for clients homes and unique gifts which make up the bulk of her work and is always happy to discuss ideas. Generally, if you can dream it, Linda can bring it to life in beautiful stained glass.
Having a previous career in learning and development, Linda loves sharing her passion of stained glass with others and helping them to fall in lover with her chosen craft.
There is usually something new on Linda’s work bench every day and you can follow her work on her website and social channels.
When running workshops Linda lets her participants bring their own ideas with them and design a small hanger from scratch. This is how she started and since then her work has become more elaborate. Please see her blossom tree and squirrel as beautiful examples of her most recent works of art.
